Social Media.

At the beginning of this year, I have zero idea about what social media is. Facebook is just Facebook. MySpace is just MySpace. Blogs are blogs. RSS feed are just that. RSS feed.

Then I started reading this blog and these things are no longer one dimensional. There's stuff like Twitter, Del.icio.us and god-knows what else. Social media is so much more! Facebook Fatigue and this and that. Wow-whee!

Can't say I know exactly what social media or media or whatever that blog is about. But, yes, I am interested and "hooked". Lucky that I stumble upon the blog eh?

In communication class, we had a small discussion on new media and I realised NTU's people take on social media is rather limited. Which cause me to want to find out more.

And *tada* my FYP topic is about social media!! We got rejected/ditched by 3 tutors before we FINALLY settled on one professor that we like and one topic that is rather interesting (at least to me). I came up with 3 ideas for social media and we expanded on one. But after meeting up with the professor, I am more interested in my 3rd idea >.< How now, brown cow?

I have no idea what's the point or purpose of this post! My thoughts are short-circuited before they can go any deeper.
