Was randomly flipping through i-周刊 when I saw this interview with Jade Seah. Apparently she's acting in a show with 3 of the 七公主. And like most young people in their 20s these days, she can't read Chinese. Okay, she's lousy in her chinese.
Anyways, the interview included one-page of her han-yu-ping-yin-ed script. And there was a glaring error on it. The script goes:
G Force: G Force G Force, we are the best! G Force G Force, down with the rest! (同时指向敌队)Yeah!
* 只见敌队队长和其他队员的神情十分沮丧
Above the word "沮丧" was the hanyu pinyin, "ju sang" and then the meaning, "bored"!!!!
Okay, my chinese is going down the drain. But from my memory, 沮丧 doesn't mean bored right?! It means disappointed? Let-down? Definitely not bored!
She needs a better translator!!!
Okay, just something I noticed while I was stoning in front of the TV(:
